Thank you, Dina!

As we recognize World Alzheimer’s and Brain Awareness in June, we would like to focus on our AMAZING music therapist, Dina Budke! Dina has worked here at Hilltop for nearly 24 years and has touched the lives of many of our residents along the way. Dina graduated from the University of Kansas with her bachelors in music education and an emphasis in music therapy but her effort did not stop there. In recent years, she has worked hard to earn her credentials as a Certified Dementia Practioner as well as a Certified Montessori Dementia Care Professional. With that, Dina can pursue what she is truly passionate about – enriching the quality of life for those residents with a dementia diagnosis.

Marilyn Bourbon joined our Hilltop family this past March and has already made a great impression in all of our hearts. Marilyn loves spending her time finishing word puzzle books, playing Bingo and chatting with all of the other residents outside when it is a beautiful day. Her optimism and positive attitude is what makes her so special to us – she is always brightening somebody’s day! We are so blessed to have her here with us – congrats, Marilyn!

Johnnie Goodwin II has worked at Hilltop for 6 months as a cook. He has lived in Kansas for 4 years and is originally from Alabama. Thank you, Johnnie, for all your hard work and dedication. Congrats!
